100 booths we use in our telephone operation are all equipped with system of CATI(Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing)
CATI makes possible the computerized control of data collection that was previously conducted with pencil and paper

CATI capabilities include autodial functions, questionnaire design, appointment functions, sampling management through an automated Sampling Management System(SMS), and analysis functions

yRandom Digit Dialing(RDD)z

Adams constantly seeks to use new technology and one of these is Random Digit Dialing.
RDD is a common practice in the USA where telephone interviewing was invented and is difficult to implement with other research methodologies such as door-to-door interviewing. Considering the increase of unlisted phone numbers and the attendant demographic problems, many clients are demanding more representative sampling and RDD is one of the tools that we can use to satisfy that requirement.
In RDD, the last 4 numbers of a phone number are randomized by computer. From our experience in using RDD, 60% of collected samples are from numbers listed in the phone book and 40% are from unlisted numbers.
In addition to the above, Adams continues to respect respondents privacy and be considerate of convenient times of day to call as well as test new ways to gather even higher quality data.

Adams conducts over 500 telephone surveys a year by phone alone. This is the twice the number of projects conducted 2 years ago and we think business will continue to expand.

We conduct projects of various types with consumers and businesses and even with other interviewers/operators in what is called Mystery Shopping.
In particular, more than 35% of Adams yearly projects are business to business research. This is 3 times the industry average.
Adams is able to conduct difficult business to business research projects because of our many years of skill in interviewing and the use of technological tools such as CATI. Using the speed, immediacy, wide coverage, and efficiencies of the telephone, Adams will continue to produce results for public opinion polls, advertising effectiveness, and other types of research.
